The Alpine Lodge is less than 200 meters from the train station. Zermatt allows no auto traffic, so everyone must walk from the train to their hotel. At high altitude, in a hilly town, being close to train is good!

We had a wonderful stay at Alpine Lodge! The location was perfect, it was very clean, the host was friendly and helpful, and it was very quiet despite being on a busy street!

Nice tidy apartment with everything we needed.
Excellent location.
As it was located on the main street it could get noisy in the early hours of the morning thanks to a minority of inconsiderate people.
