What actually happens

Booking it yourself

Search for the stay, pick a room, and confirm it. On a pay-at-the-property rate that takes a name, an email address and a phone number — no card number, because nothing is being charged. Most bookings are done in under a minute and the confirmation arrives immediately.

On the call

You say what you need in your own words — how many rooms, roughly when, anything that matters. You do not need dates to the day, and you do not need to know the name of a property. Most people start with something like “I need four rooms near the base for a graduation weekend.”

We search live availability while you talk, read back the two or three options that genuinely fit, and book the one you pick. Confirmation goes to your phone and your email before you hang up.

What it costs

Nothing, to you. You pay the property’s rate — the same rate you would get booking direct. We are paid a commission by the property. If a room is cheaper somewhere else we will say so, because a booking you regret is worth less to us than one you would make again.

Payment

Many properties let you pay at the desk on arrival, and where that is an option we will take it — it is simpler and it keeps your card out of the conversation entirely. Where a card is required to hold the room, you enter the number on your own keypad. It is captured directly by our payment processor and is never read aloud, never stored by us, and never present in a call recording.

Changing or cancelling

Call the same number. Your booking is filed under the number you called from, so there is no reference to read out and nothing to look up. Cancellation terms are the property’s own, and we will tell you what they are before you commit, not after.

Who you are speaking to

An AI assistant that does nothing but book hotels. It is quick and it does not put you on hold. If your request is genuinely unusual, or you would simply rather deal with a person, say so and we will hand you over.

When not to bother calling

One room, two nights, no complications — do it yourself. It takes ninety seconds and a call would only be slower. The phone earns its keep when the trip has a shape a booking form cannot hold: a block of rooms, a monthly rate, an invoice to somebody’s employer, or a requirement that has to be confirmed with a human being rather than assumed from a facilities list.
