The location is good for a day or two. However the room is not ventilated and is smelly. Not at all good for non-smokers. The area is safe but seedy.

The hotel is located in the middle of the ghetto (which is what Batam is). This is not visible from the strategically taken picture of the front of the hotel. As a white tourist, expect to get ripped off everywhere you…
