There was not enough firewood for a winter stay. One of the bedrooms was freezing. The living area did not have any thermal curtains. We had to source our own wood…

Great quiet location in Taupo, good quality linen on the beds and hosts accommodated our later check out which was nice. Nice touch having a coffee machine.
Unfortunately no dry firewood, kindling, paper or fire lighters…
