酒田市の図書館や観光案内所、レストラン、ショップが入った複合施設の一部となっていて、特に図書館の使い勝手が良い。地元の高校生たちも沢山勉強していて、雰囲気が良い。
ダブルルームに二人で宿泊したが、必要最小限のスペースで、やや狭かった。窓が部屋幅いっぱいに取ってあるのは、狭さを感じさせない工夫で良いと思った。
