All was good. Clean, spacious rooms, big bathroom. There was strong wifi, tv and kitcjem has all utilities for cooking. There is supermarket close by so you can cook.

La Gaulette is a quiet village with mainly residential properties. It has no sandy beach for swimming therefore not very touristy which is very nice as you get to experience the true Mauritius.
