Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Please note that your credit card will not be charged by this site at any time. Credit card details are only required to secure the booking, and payment is due at the hotel. When you are booking a deal where full pre-payment is required, your credit card will be charged directly by the hotel. A deposit may be required at the property.
