Ernespie Hotel is set in a beautiful location but still conveniently close to the amenities of Castle Douglas.
The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, which really enhanced our stay.

It was not as good an experience as the one we had five years ago, which is why we chose to stay here this time around.
Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and dinner too.
Our room wasn’t as clean as it should be, had to get the bedding changed, which was done without any hassle and everybody was extremely apologetic.

A lovely period property with great welcoming staff
Amazing driveway & 14 acres of land with great views. Staff are so friendly & make you feel welcome. The owner is extremely professional and nothing is too much trouble

Was a nice relaxing couple of days. The weather helped as we were able to take advantage of the nice gardens.
Nice gardens with lovely views. Nice room.
The food wasn’t great. Breakfast was very basic.
