We didn't stay, as the place appeared unkept with dirty washing lying on the floor in the eating/breakfast room. Owner appeared asleep in the bar area with only a dog…

Location was good although it's a steep climb to the hotel entrance. The view of the river from the room we had was nice.
No response to calls, voice messages or email sent prior to arrival. Had to wait 15mins to be let…

The view
The whole place was dusty, and had a profound musty smell. Even the clean towels stank.
There was no heating or hot water for the first and third nights
No fire notices in the room. We were alone in the hotel…
