The shower head, etc, was broken. We fixed it.
Pillows were filfy.
No sweeping brush.
Towels were out on the clothes horse outside.

The location is well known to us and we return for a holiday most years.
Although the house was clean the bedding was not in a good condition. My daughter had a very lumpy pillow. I checked a chest for replacement but…
