LisaCalling this property a "resort" is a stretch. There is a very small pool, a basketball court and two fire pits. The cabins are close together so not much privacy if you're outside. Upon opening the door to our small…
BennieWe enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin at Canyon Lake Resort. We were able to cook the fish we caught right outside and enjoy our supper in the nice outside area by our cabin. It was very quiet and relaxing.
DianaHas a small kitchenette we only used the fridge. Has microwave and coffee maker along with toaster. Very clean
MelindaRooms are a little dated but the property with the small lake and waterfowl provided an overall relaxing and peaceful experience. Would have loved to have gone out on a complimentary paddle boat but it was too late in…
JimYou need to bring own dishes and pots & pans to use the kitchen. This is a beautiful location and the room was sufficient for what we needed.
SusanI got a reservation for a nice room in the Lodge, but the Lodge is now closed and instead I got a very dated cabin nearby. I was disappointed they did not inform me that the Lodge was closed so that I could make…

What we’d check for you here
- That the step-free room is actually free on your dates, and whether it is a roll-in shower or a bath, which the listing never says.
- Whether there is room for a pickup, a trailer or a van, not just a car.
- Whether the rate moves for your dates, and what it includes.
- What the property actually charges at the desk on top of the rate.
Questions about Canyon Lake Resort
What time is check-in and check-out at Canyon Lake Resort?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you're arriving late, tell us and we'll ask the property to hold the room.
Does Canyon Lake Resort allow pets?
No — the property states that pets are not allowed.
Is there parking at Canyon Lake Resort?
Parking is listed among the property's facilities. Whether it's free and whether a space can be reserved varies, so we check it against your dates rather than promise it here.
Does Canyon Lake Resort have Wi-Fi?
Yes — internet access is listed among the property's facilities.
Does Canyon Lake Resort have wheelchair accessible rooms?
The property lists step-free or accessible facilities. That flag is the one least able to settle the question: a hotel can carry it and still have a step at the entrance, or a bath rather than a roll-in shower, and it does not say whether the accessible room is free on your dates. Tell us what you need and we'll ask the property directly rather than reading you the flag.
How do I book Canyon Lake Resort?
Put your dates in above and book online, or call (888) 789-8585 and we'll do it for you — including things a booking form can't handle, like a block of rooms, a monthly rate or an invoice for your employer.
