The place is not far from busy Edinburgh, which is a plus during the festival.
I guess it helps to have a car to go to Edinburgh and back, but the train station is not that far either. Just be mindful of the train…

Good central location, close to the train station (for Edinburgh) and to the airport. A very minor problem was very quickly and efficiently sorted by the host. Very handy to have a washing machine and tumble drier.
