The owner was really helpful and the area was interesting. However, I hadn’t realized that it was a bit of a walk from the nearest available transportation (including car), which was difficult for my mother to manage.

This was a B&B. The house was owned by an older man, but was run by two brothers, one in Cairo, Hamid on site. They sent an email for me to confirm my arrival; by that time I was already in Egypt and was having problems…
