Great locationFriendly serviceBeautiful views
KathyUnited StatesIt was on the beach literally
Bathtub didn’t drain which made it slick by the end of the showery
KathleenUnited StatesOlder quaint hotel in a small town right on the Lake Michigan beach.
It was a quaint older hotel, reminiscent of my childhood. We were right on the beach in Algoma, and for the view alone, I would go there again. Sunrises were breath taking. There were fire pits, with wood available…
LoriUnited StatesVery clean and close to town. Being on the beach was awesome
Nothing it was perfect
SusanUnited StatesWe liked that our motel was on the outskirts of Door County, not very busy. The view of Lake Michigan from our balcony was superb and even got to do some rock hunting. The sunsets across the road were beautiful! Location…
FlanaganUnited StatesBeautiful location of you want to be close to the beach!
It's Ali about the location!! Room was clean enough. I expect the halls to show sand because of the beach. Outside seating and fire pits was a great bonus.
Rooms could use upgrades
JulieUnited StatesAdequate and close to the event we were in town for.
There as no breakfast. Facility is in sore need of upkeep! Dead tree blocking our view of Lake Michigan. Doors don’t fit well and stick. Woodwork is beat up, parking lot entrance is terrible! Communication is not clear…

What we’d check for you here
- That the step-free room is actually free on your dates, and whether it is a roll-in shower or a bath, which the listing never says.
- Whether there is room for a pickup, a trailer or a van, not just a car.
- Whether the rate moves for your dates, and what it includes.
- What the property actually charges at the desk on top of the rate.
Questions about Algoma Beach Motel
What time is check-in and check-out at Algoma Beach Motel?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you're arriving late, tell us and we'll ask the property to hold the room.
Does Algoma Beach Motel allow pets?
No — the property states that pets are not allowed.
Is there parking at Algoma Beach Motel?
Yes — the property states that parking on site is free. Whether a space can be reserved in advance varies, so we check it against your dates.
Does Algoma Beach Motel have Wi-Fi?
Yes — internet access is listed among the property's facilities.
Does Algoma Beach Motel have wheelchair accessible rooms?
The property lists step-free or accessible facilities. That flag is the one least able to settle the question: a hotel can carry it and still have a step at the entrance, or a bath rather than a roll-in shower, and it does not say whether the accessible room is free on your dates. Tell us what you need and we'll ask the property directly rather than reading you the flag.
How do I book Algoma Beach Motel?
Put your dates in above and book online, or call (888) 789-8585 and we'll do it for you — including things a booking form can't handle, like a block of rooms, a monthly rate or an invoice for your employer.
