Excellent little place if you want a quiet location
Full of character, room was cosy and clean. Staff were very friendly. Food was freshly cooked to order and was delicious.
It was just a little remote and very quiet.

Pleasant stay with lovely staff.
The food in the restaurant was lovely. The room were perfectly clean. Nice touches with tea, coffee and biscuits. Great shower. Nice outdoor seating area. Staff were all very nice. Nice location close to Cockermouth.

De kamer was zeer ruim en voorzien van alle voorzieningen. Het bed was voortreffelijk en de service uitmuntend. We arriveerden iets eerder maar dat was geen enkel probleem. Hele fijne accommodatie

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was pretty good, and it was a clean lovely room. Comfortable bed.
I prefer a bath. But the shower was ok

Perfect location, especially for the 4 days walking the fells around that area.
Nicola and Colin are so friendly and the other staff also do lovely and helpful!
The breakfast and evening meal were real nice home…
