The fine print
We are refurnishing the hotel and doing maintenance work in guest common areas until December 31st. Noises can be expected for 9 to 18 hr. Note that guests must be over 18 years old in order to book. All guests under this age can only check-in with an adult. Please note that starting July 1st, and based on Puerto Iguazu's bylaw #54/2015, please note that a local Ecotax of 1.5 USD, per person, per day, is not included on the fee. It applies to all non-Misiones residents nor retired guests older than 12 years old, and can only amount to the charge of a 2-night stay. It will be payed to the hotel reception. Please note the based on local tax laws, all Argentinian citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (VAT) of 21%. Only foreigners who pay with a foreign credit card, debit card or via bank transfer are exempt from this 21% additional fee (VAT) in accommodations and breakfast when presenting a foreign passport or a foreign ID along with a supporting document handed by the national migrations authority, if applicable.
