Lovely summer Sunday evening in Hawkshead.
Great place for an overnight in Hawkshead. Comfortable room and bed, good shower. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice. Recommend booking a table in good time for an evening meal; we left it too late and it was fully…

Fantastic stay at the Queen's Head in one of the Brown Cow opposite the main building. A fantastic ground floor room opening into the garden with seats and table to sit outside Brown

A relaxing place to stay.
Room was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A relaxing stay overall and a tasty cooked breakfast.
The room was a bit warm but it was a heatwave and a fan was provided.
