Hôtel très très sympa , dans la vieille ville , très bien placé, dans une rue piétonne.

Quiet, relaxing stay
The location is close to the Buquebus ferry so it makes it a great option for folks like me who are just coming into Montevideo from Buenos Aires for the weekend. The decor of the hotel and friendly staff were amazing

Fauna Montevideo is located in a historic building from 1927 and therefore does not have an elevator, so guests must use the stairs to reach the accommodations. Starting October 1, 2025, the Municipality of Montevideo has implemented a daily tourism tax of US$1 per person per day for all tourists, with a maximum of US$5 per person, to be charged by all registered accommodations. We will need to add this charge to the total cost of your stay.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
