No bells and whistles, just wonderful accomodation and stay... perfect for a ski trip
Everything was wonderful, rooms were nice, hosts were very accomodating and friendly, breakfast was excellent and authentic japanese.... and the hand made stained glass windows in the accomodation are very beautiful.

Comfortable, enjoyed conversing with our fantastic hostess Yorika, and loved the in-house hot bath.
We did not eat there but Yoriko brought us fresh strawberries one day after skiing.
The location was very near the Tsugaike Ski Resort but a bit away from the other resorts in Hakuba Valley. We had a car but the bus…

Exceptional
Its a typical japanese house or ryoukan. A polite old landlady is looking after the property and welcomed you. Since I arrived during off peak season (outside ski and hiking season in May), the property is less crowded…
