Bright Escapes reserves the right to hold Credit Card details on file as security for any damages, excess cleaning and any extra charges that may be incurred during your stay. These card details will be securely kept for 14 days after departure and any damages or additional charges will be charged to the card within that time frame if needed. Once the 14 days after departure has passed the card details are automatically deleted from our secure system. Some properties require an additional cash bond to be held (advertised on individual listings if applicable. Bright Escapes reserves the right to claim compensation from the credit card provided in the event of: The accommodations is not left in the condition it was found in relation to building, cleanliness and grounds. This also applies to any furniture and fittings that are not returned to their original position. If excess cleaning is required beyond our allocated cleaning time of a property due to lack of care from guests, this is inclusive of extra cleaning required due to pets (see full pet terms below) If the amount of bedding that is used exceeds the number of guests that have been noted on your booking without notifying Bright Escapes.
