Lots of beautiful character in this Civil War era building.
The location was great. It was walking distance to the Historic Downtown and several restaurants.
I loved the fact that this was an old Civil War era home and that’s why I chose it. I love old. However, the room I stayed…

Convenient location but was not as advertised and too expensive for no services.
Great location and neat historic building.
Advertised as bed and breakfast and it isn’t. There was a coffee maker in room but no refills on coffee or condiments. No staff on the premises, no
housekeeping staff.

Fine bnb. Large room with own bath. Little road noise outside , but not too bad. Choice of two very good home made quiches for breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, & pastries. Will stay again.

Carlisle House is beautiful and preserving of the past. Quaint, quiet, and polished. Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would stay again!
