Thiis the fourth time we have staed at the Compass Rose which tells you that it is an exceptional property. It is a welcoming historic home, roomy and charming. The breakfast is consistently excellent with a good array…
LeslieUnited StatesGreat location! Clean and beautifully appointed!
We got lucky and got a parking space in front but it could be challenging for others who had to park in the rear area.
LeslieUnited Statesbreakfast was delicious, nighttime quiet and peaceful in this location, perfect for a relaxing overnight near Plum Island, and right in the walkable section of Newburyport
Thank you to the Compass Rose and staff!

Location was great- easy walk to everything! Clean, warm, welcoming place to stay. Room was large, very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. No complaints! Will definitely stay here again!
JamesUnited StatesOur stay here made for a wonderful Yankee Homecoming experience!
The rooms were spacious and included a sitting room with comfortable furniture and a desk and reading corner. The location couldn’t be better for seeing Newburyport and dining at some great restaurants.
